I believe this is the CLOWN CAR method of illegal fruit smuggling. The cops in Seville, Spain pulled over a compact car earlier this week and discovered something fascinating inside: Oranges. The car was PACKED from floor to ceiling, from back to front, with an endless supply of oranges, So they pulled over another car that was driving close to that compact car and they found it was ALSO packed with oranges. That car was much bigger though, so it had room for way more of 'em. All in all, the cops found that the five people in the two cars had FOUR TONS of oranges.
They claimed they had just been road tripping and buying them on the way, but the cops didn't buy it . . . and it turned out their instinct was right.
These people had stolen the oranges from a company's shipment, so they were all charged with theft.
